Are those the same manila clams I steam?

I actually got a manila clam in a sandbed (from AJ). It was alive and well until I scooped it up thinking, wtf is this????

In superstore, they are in cold water, are these different? If not, I'm going to go buy a bunch hehehe.

Its hit and miss with manila clams... a few people on RC use them as filter feeders, and they seem to do alright. The longest I've heard of a manila clam survive in our tank is about a year and counting. Harvey and I tried it... I'm not sure about Harvey, but mine all died within a couple of days.

Yummy Manila clam is a regular part of my diet

The superstore clam is the same. Manila clam can survive cold to hot water temp. If you buy a bunch give me some they make a good soup
