2-Little giants-4md-sc`s w/overheat protection-$150 each or $275/both.

These 2 pumps will need to be arranged a couple of weeks ahead of purchase time,as they are now both in use on my system,and i will have to purchase and hook up another one to get them offline.

Would consider trades on any of these for a larger pump if you have one that is overkill for your system,but no Mags ;) ,or a high powered/quality skimmer.

I believe the ocean runner 3500 is in the 900gph range,im looking in the 3000-3500 gph neighborhood.

The 3MD is a flow pump? Is it also fan cooled like my 3MD pressure model and if so does it whine like mine?

Are the 4,s fan cooled or water cooled? Thanks.

Hey Doug,

Im not sure what you mean by flow pump...if that is a higher volume and a less head capacity then yes it is.

But the 4md`s are pressure pumps made for a higher volume at a higher head.

none of them are fan cooled,i have an older 4md aswell that is fan cooled,and it is very noisey,these are much quiter that that one by far.

Just wanted to let you know I am still considering the 3 and perhaps a 4.

I think I may switch my 3MD out and put yours there instead. Will let you know soon, that is of course if they are still for sale.
