Looking into using 2020 aluminum to build a "stand" for my lights to sit on. Where are you guys sourcing the parts from? Thanks

![]() Metalmart.ca / metal supermarket out in surrey ..maybe lother in Burnaby maybe. They can tell you where else otherwise. Used to be Ruston metals in Vancouver but I think they no longer around. There are some neat places in surreylangley where you can make your own metal work/ machining and make something nice like a Le Russo branded mount.

![]() Since it's near saltwater which is very corrosive to aluminum you might want to consider a 6061 T6 as it has better corrosion resistance than the 2000 series. 6061 T6 is cheap too. I just bought some 9' long by 2" dia tube for 2.19/ft.
