Default my new 120gal reef

hi guys

i'm setting up my 120gal reef tank right now
i got some question
my tank size is 48x24x24
i use a mak 4 for return
and a mag 7 for uv and return
i guess the total return is around 1300gal per hour
and i want to buy a tunze 6060 for internal flow
it has 1680gph flow rate
is it too strong or not enough
most of the coral are soft and lps
some anemons and some clams

thanks

Hi rayyue.

Sounds like we are building the same tank. I was looking at a Tunze 6060 today in fact. I too would like one.

I was told it would work fine. I even got to put my arm in the tank and feel the current. It spreads out nicely and seems to move the water very well. I was impressed.

I have two of them in a 3 foot tank and I aranged them in a way that it is a gental current everywhare and no blasting. so ya one in your tank would be ok.
