Why not work out a deal with this unit ... ?
You could buy your own QD box http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/sho...=1#post1011914 |

By experience have to say the QD is very very quiet compared to a regular mp10. But also have to say that you mention your desktop tank is only 13g so you don't really need to run the mp10 at full power, max 50% in my opinion. So you don't really need to go with a QD , pretty sure a regular mp10 will do for you, and the above mention mp10 is a great deal for someone...
will save you some $$$$ you can buy some livestock with it :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Correct, but I agree with most of the above post. A tank that size I would say you wouldn't even need to run it @ 50%
I was running 1 unit in a standard 20G @ 40% But yes, if you want it to be a QD, with the MP10s, all you need buy is the upgrade driver. Both the wet and dry sides are compatible with it. |

From what I hear you need to buy the driver and also the dry side. No?

For the mp10 you only need to get the driver. You can use all the rest again.
