Default Filter Floss??
I use a lot of filter floss, and since Big Als shut down, I havent been able to find any. Does anyone know where to find any? Pisces has some...but they want $5.99 per linear foot for it.

I really miss that big roll of floss that was at big als. Can you get sheets of the stuff at a fabric or hobby store?

I Use to get it at golds when I used it .

Fabric stores should have it, or upholstery shops (this would be a cash transaction most likely). Just ask for Dacron padding

My wife gets mine from a quilting shop. I get a bag the size of a hockey bag for $50 or so

Big Als was good for a few things! First time for me this year that I didn't stock up on salt on Boxing Day too. I'm in the same boat, I use a lot of this stuff on my FW tank and I don't have much left of my current roll.

Someone once told me they were getting their filter floss at The Sleep Boutique (not far from where UFA used to be). But I never followed up on that myself, so I don't know for certain. Bt could be worth a visit. Link - http://www.sleepboutique.ca/custom-specialty-foam/ (in th epicture you can see something that looks like it could be the right stuff..)

That stuff is more like cotton batting. Not sheets of filter floss. I find that stuff useless.

Found some on amazon....and it was from big als online! Lol. But it doubled in price. What used to be $10 is now $20. But worth it.
