i've talked to him 'bout one before kinda rusty which i'd love to have but i don't think the ladie of the house would be happy to see a used equipment which cost around 500 dollars.. i'd get an earful =o/

the chiller i offered you new is 1600.00 if you dont remember i had told you 800 and i was going to do the cleanup of it and you complained about the price so i told you 500 and you clean it up . tell the whole story next time so the other party does not look bad

Nowhere does it make you look bad, IMO. He said he'd love to have what you offered, but had a "wife acceptance" issue.
