Thinking about Coralife Super Skimmer (Needle Wheel)
Thinking about buying this Coralife Super Skimmer (needle wheel)
http://www.jlaquatics.com/product/ps...25+Gallon.html Anyone have experiences with this Coralife Super Skimmer line? They look ridiculously affordable. JL has it (the 125 gal model) for $193 whereas Big Als wants $260... big difference. Any experiences would be appreciated. |

Abort! Abort!
They may not be the worst skimmer out there (pretty sure the skilter is the undisputed champ in that class), but definitely the worst of the many I have owned. |

Don't do it! One of the worst skimmers ever made! You can buy a bubble magus for less than that!

DO NOT BUY ONE!!!!
Take it from someone who fought with a SS220 for 3 years to try and get it to run right......ended up turfing it and buying a SWC

I used to have one of these very unreliable in terms of keeping a good constant skim. I would spend a little extra and get a Reef Octopus or something, those are pretty reasonable.
