![]() i was thinking about adding 10 chromis to my 180 gallon. id like to add some movement and think it would look cool to have a school of chromis.
anyone have any experiences with these? good or bad? |

![]() I wish mine never happened. I bought 9 when I fired up tank and have 9 stiiiillll. My wife likes them but there's nicer schooling fish

is definitely the best bang for ur buck interms of schooling fishes |

![]() When I had a 110 going I bought a school of about 10. They seemed to actively kill each other off until there were about 4 left. Once they were down to that number they seemed very happy together and got along just fine. I liked having them in the tank as they did add a lot of movement.

![]() I had 5 green/blues in my 65g and they were awesome, lost a couple to different causes, dont think it had anything to do with the amount I had. Not aggressive towards other fish or anything and looked really natural the way they schooled. Planning on getting a dozen or so vanderbilts or some other cool chromis variation in the future. If you have large sps colonies they will sleep inside them/ hide in them when scared, again looks like something you would typically see on a natural reef. Good decision I would think, but dont trust me as I have not had a group this large but again I wouldnt think it would be much different than having a smaller group in a smaller tank.
