![]() So I just brought home a brand new, beautiful red rose BTA. I just finished acclimating him when I went to take him out of the bag and DROPPED HIM ON THE GROUND. A bunch of his tentacles popped and it looked like a raspberry exploded on the ground. The main body was intact so I scooped him up quickly and put him onto the spot I had saved for him in the tank. The rest of the tentacles look okay and he is currently moving along the rock, but he is pretty closed up. Should he be okay or should I be expecting the worst?

![]() A tip: never take any animal whose body is supported, like an anemone, by water out of the water. Always use a small container or bag to transfer. That way you avoid raspberries on your floor :P.
That being said, I hope your little guy pulls through! Time will tell. |

![]() He's opening up and moving about. He seems to be okay. Thank goodness. I've heard that a dead anemone is an ill prospect indeed.
