Default T5 ok on/near eurobrace?

I'm installing my T5 retrofits and looks like 1 row will need to be directly above my eurobrace. Eurobrace is THICK (19mm) and the bulb will be very close (< inch) to it. Is this a concern (I'm not talking about light transmission only heat/cracking).

I'd assume with glass that thick it's not a worry but please chime in if you know more.

I had a 400w MH 5" above a cross brace for a year or so, no issues. Would think you'd be fine..

T5s aren't particularly hot, it should be fine.

You will be OK Brett, especially because its not you main light source. You might lose some spectrum because it's going threw the glass but it won't affect the glass or bulb at all, just like having glass covers.
