Is it possible to put 2 adult Emperor Angel's together in one tank? They are about 8 inches. They will also be together with 20 other fishes. The tank is 180 gallons.

I'm going to guess no. 20 fish is already a good load, and adding 2 fish that size to this population would likely induce a bit of stress. I'm not even sure you can put two together even if they were by themselves.

i have seen it done before, but in really large tanks with even more fish in them, i assume with enough space and extra fish to keep attention spans moving could work, but then tank size and rockwork would come into effect

If there in at the same time you should be ok cuz neither one has a terrority yet, same concept when introducing mulitple large angels UNLESS there both males then one will become dominant and you might have issues...
