boyu skimmer

so im in the process of setting up my 80 gallon reef,i pretty much have all the equipment except for lights. because i am on a budget i didnt want to spend the money to have a fugee plumped into my tank so i went with a hang on skimmer, i bought a boyu now right after opening it up and looking at the instructions i had a feeling that i may have made a mistake, ive noticed that all the seals are poorly made and nuthing seems to fit tightly on it so my question is, has or dose any one have one of these skimmers and are they or are they not cheap chinese garbage?

Never seen one but have looked online...
That's a cheaply built unit my friend...the bang for buck items in this hobby are few and far between.

If your budget is really tight, skip the skimmer and do weekly water changes...
