Default Using Easy Blade to remove coralline algae, etc

This sounds really lame, but do any of you have trouble setting the blade on your Easy Blade so it sits flat on the glass?

It works great otherwise, but I must have glued the handle on 1 iouta out as the blade (tried a few new ones) only seems to be effective for a bout a half inch on one side so makes the cleaning job take wayyyy longer.

As I said i know this is lame, but is there a 'trick' to ensuring the blade makes contact with the glass all the way along?

Or another product that can extend even further in the back of the tank?

Thanks!

Make sure that its square to the glass before dropping it in the tank.
and let the magfloat ride alittle high. (More weight on the blade)

I also, try to only push the blade around. If you pull, it flexes the flimsy front plate and causes the blade to lift and it never reseats completly flat.

Hope this helps.

Default thx Ross

Will give it a try. Yeah, it always appears to be correctly sitting, but only a small portion of the blade seems to connect.
