![]() what kind of skimmer? I've got a beckett, I don't know what it would be rated for though. I used it on my 90gal.

he wants to set up fish only tank with maybe softies n anemones so it'll have a heavy load thats for sure |

![]() Im not sure because the skimmer is not in my hands, but from the picture, the construction looks very skimpy and weak, too thin of acrylic, if you bump it or it tips over it looks like it could break, and the wavy lines in the tube, lends itself to being made of extruded, which tends to crack, haze, and eventually fail..... especially being as thin as it appears to be, if you want a cheap good skimmer, dont look at acrylic, make or buy a PVC skimmer, can be built the same as any other skimmer in function and is cheap, just not clear, you could get a clear collection cup for one too....
