![]() saw about 5-8 amphipods on the base of my millipora few days ago and they're about 8-10mm long..now this morning the area where i saw them has turned white and no tissues left [small size maybe 4mm and 10mm long]..used a baster to see if any tissue would come off but no signs of peeling or decaying tissue. could the pods be eating it?

![]() If I'm not mistaken they will eat it if it's dead and or decaying. Pods aren't normally destructive. Is that a new peice in your tank?

![]() Use super glue gel next time, much better for SPS corals. No die off, and they rapidly grow over it.

![]() Hey Steve,
I guess the tissue covered by the glue dies, but in my experience there is living tissue all the way to the glue line. Mike |
