I don't think they are available in the US yes, but was wondering if anyone had any experience/input?

The only thing I've heard is that they're pricey but fantastic.
The user evilc66 at nano-reef.com - who is pretty much the LED guru over there said that if money were no object he would buy one in a heartbeat. I think a vendor was trying to get a group buy on them for Canada on this board.
