![]() OK... I need to get rid of some no longer wanted corals and am looking for suggestions on how to do it.
1 Rhodactis Mushrooms 2 Ugly Zoas 3 Bubble algae (not a coral) I tried to scrape the mushrooms off therock, but they didn't come off, and just ended up multiplying. Any tips? Treat them all the same as aiptasia?

![]() 1&2. kalk paste, joe's juice etc. should work.
bubble algae... I think emerald crab eats them, or you can remove them one by one, but because not to pop them. |

![]() Unfortunately, the zoas are on a rock that has 3 sps colonies encrusted on it... that rock stays for sure! The Rhodactis mushrooms are pretty nice... they're a nice green... I do worry about getting that piece of rock out of there though. I'll try to get a picture tonight.

![]() kalk will kill the zoas. As for bubble, emeralds are a good choice (get a few, bc they are hit and miss).
Also, manual removal is important, so get to work. Last edited by imcosmokramer; 11-06-2011 at 01:20 AM. |
