![]() Last Sat I was aggressively cleaning my tanks of grape calerupa. And yes I was wearing gloves but these were only medical gloves. In the process of pulling this stuff off the rocks the palys secret out a slime when mechanically upset. I don't know if it was the aerosol generated by the cleaning or the skin contact but it almost turned into a medical emergency. I suffered a severe acute asthmatic attack which lasted at least 8 hrs all night. I have no history of asthma. I did seek medical attention in the morning and the doctor put me on Ventolin.

![]() wow, that's terrible. I've heard some of them are pretty toxic, apperently some hawiian zoa's where used for poison tipped spears way back. Hope all goes well.

![]() Scary! I hope you're all recovered now. I had once got the metal taste from my purple deaths just from pulling a small piece of algae off it and that was warning enough for me.
