| hitch hiker id needed? Correct forum? I dunno. Anyways, I thought I had one friend along for the ride...it appears that there are two. The look like....well...the first one looked like nothing. Maybe a squirming piece of snail meat that got sliced off one of the snails by mistake. Now it seems to have an antenna or two. I was taking some shots of it, and then watched another come sliding by. :-o Juvenile snails? The second one looks like it might be developing some kind of a shell? This one has no shell whatsoever, demonstrated by its ability to crawl into a tiny hole a 1/4 of its side. |

| They're stomatella snails. They are fairly common good hitchhiker.
