![]() So I picked up the "Acan Plus" food that red coral has in right now
WOW, love the stuff. I have always had an issue with feeding acans mysis and other larger food. The second you put this stuff near a head it eats it up. Fed for the first time last night but with a really liquid mix and I had great results today and tonight I did a thicker batch and it worked great. Love the stuff and can't wait to see it on the shelves |

![]() got a sample today and my torch loved it! I think I will try and make it a bit thicker tommorow and see if my other corals will take it better.
What did you use to target feed? I have a small syringe that seemed to do the trick. |

![]() You can use a syringe or dropper. What ever works best for you. When I feed my corals Acan Plus I mix it rather thick and target feed each head. When putting the food near the coral you should get an instant feeding response. Acan Plus sinks unlike other coral food that just floats to the surface. I also turn off my pumps off while I feed and leave them off for 20-30 mins to give my corals time to eat the food.
I will post some clips and pictures of feeding Acan Plus in a thread at Red Coral later this week. |

![]() So in just less than a week I have noticed a massive difference in my acans. The polyp extension is MASSIVE compared to before. This has honestly made me consider way more acans in my tank
