![]() Hey guys
Dropping another line. Just a quick question. My tank crashed about 7 weeks ago and I finished my new cycle last week. So naturally I have high nitrates. My problem is because of my crash I had huge ammonia in my tank. Higher than a test could show. Now I have lots of nitrates too. I've been doing a daily 20% water change for the past week. And still have an average of 10ppm nitrates. Has any body used nitrate remover either in a reactor or in liquid form? Positive or negative results? |

![]() Nitrate absorbing media isn't a very cost effective or reliable way of lowering nitrate.
