Default WTB: 250W MH Ballast

Hi All,

My aged 250W tar MH ballast has stopped firing my lamps so I am looking for an inexpensive replacement ballast.

If anyone has a used (or two) 250W MH or MV ballast please email or PM me.

I posted awhile back looking for the same. If you need to buy new Commercial lighting on Annacis Island quoted me a price of $57.00. for a 250 W MH

Hope this helps.

Hey Bryan thanks for the info. Is that an open TAR ballast or is it encased? Does it come with plug and wires for the socket? What is the ANSI designation of the ballast quoted?

I might hold out for a reply from Venki to get one of his 250W electronic MH ballasts as I would prefer the energy savings and bulb life of the electronic over a TAR, but @ $57.00 that's a good price!

Just a regular coil and core ballast with the capacitor and mounting hardware. No enclosure or wired plugs. Purely for the DIY'er.
