![]() Hmmm... Looks pretty but what LEDs are they running (Cree makes all sorts or are they another brand using Cree dies as some do)? What power are they running the LEDs at? How are they cooled? What are the PAR measurements?

![]() The LED's are CREE certified XP-G's and available in different outputs. The model at Interzoo was equipped with the 3.3w diodes producing up to 139 lum/watt. There will be a variety of output Astra fixtures available to the consumer. I am unsure of PAR measures at this point but should expect some soon.

![]() Not sure what Cree "certified" means.
Anyhow, so at 139 lumens per watt they are probably actually driving them at 350mA or about 1 watt power. This makes sense because they could not run these at 2 to 3 watts in that housing without overheating. X-PGs at 3 watts would need at least a decent heatsink and preferabaly some airflow too. |

Led modules are fully changeable for future upgrading - 18 Led's in total - Available with up to 139 lum/watt output - LED color choices of Blue, Cool White(8500k), Warm White(3500k) - Available in std On/Off and Dimmable versions. Dimmable via use of a compatible 0-10v DC interface controller - Astra can be tank mounted to glass 5-10mm with clamp kit(not shown) or suspended with hanging kit - Astra footprint measures 12"x12" Pricing: $795 for On/Off version $850 for Dimmable version ![]()
