![]() just got a goby on sunday. saw him set up a bit of a hovel right away under a rock and figured he would settle in. havent seen him since though! today while doing a water change i decided to take a peek and he was gone! i only have a 65 gallon so he couldnt have got far. are these guys jumpers? i have cats so could he have become a snack? :-(

![]() They are jumpers. I have lost 3 so far. The 4th one I found in my sump.

![]() Yup they are jumpers allot of Gobi's are I have a lid kind of once they have been in the tank for some time they seem to settle down on the jumping a bit. I leave the lid off during the day so the lights are not hindered in any way and more light gets to the bottom of the tank. He may have dug a hole and the rock has shifted and he is dead under it. They tend to do this also digging holes under large rocks is a bad habit of theirs and it can be dangerous.

![]() I have a pink barred that I see about once every 2 months. Once they find a good spot to live he does'nt venture too far from it. It'll probably show up one day.

![]() I have had one disappear without a trace, I had one that jumped, the last one did not do well from the get go. All this = FRUSTRATION.
