![]() My wife saw xtreme's Flame Hawkfish and now she is in the gotta-get-one mode, but I am concerned that it will annihilate our shrimp and snail population. Is it possible to keep this fish without losing shrimp, snails, brittle stars etc., if they are kept well fed?

![]() Well i just added a flame hawkfish to my tank. I suppose to have 5 peppermint shrimps but never saw them for some reason. Right now, he leave my coral banded and clean shrimp alone. He is a very cool fish

![]() I think I will have to pass on this fish. 3 different guys at Gold's including Dennis, did not recommend it unless you wanted to get rid of your shrimp and snails.

![]() Snails will be fine. Shrimp will not.
Cool fish. If you ever have a tank you're OK not having shrimp in, I'd do it. I had one in my cube tank. He was about 8 years old when I lost him in a mysterious tank hiccup in the fall. ![]()

![]() uh oh, I will monitor him closely because my wife will kill me if her mated pair coral banded shrimps are gone.
I really like his personal tho, swims way to the top and begging for food when the feeding time comes |
