Double Bright LED Lighting System (24" - 36") http://www.bigalsonline.ca/BigAlsCA/...tingsystem2436 Currious tho how good is 600 lumens. anyone with experience with this or led lighting. Its for a 24 inch deep tank and i would purchase 2 of these to cover the 6 foot length. |

![]() Not enough LEDs, only 1 W emitters, no optics means little useful PAR for corals except maybe the lowest light stuff. Would be okay for a fish only tank. Waste of money if you want it for corals.

![]() I wouldn't. Two issues. First the drivers would probably not have enough voltage and power for a switch to 3W emitters. You would need to replace the drivers as well so at that point you might as well go DIY as LEDs and drivers are the big cost. Second, heat would probably be an issue as I doubt they have much heatsinking for 1W emitters and it looks like no fans either.
