![]() LoL, I should clarify.. I was considering purchasing one from a friend (new setup), but just looking on the www.spectrapure.com website it looks pretty technical (remember I have minimal DIY ability).
The options I'm considering are: a) Litermeter 3 for $240 b) Vario Doser (as below) $229 http://www.marinedepot.com/a_dp_vario.asp?CartId= c) Reeffanatic Controller (as below) http://www.reeffanatic.com/cgi-bin/m...FLC&type=store What would you guys suggest? |

![]() How about a 26$ Kent float valve for top-off. Or the whole RO/DI auto shut-off kit at JL for 69$.

![]() Kent float valve:
http://www.jlaquatics.com/cgi-bin/sh...no=ro-kpfvalve Auto-shut off: http://www.jlaquatics.com/cgi-bin/sh...gno=ro-kpfvkit (I just read closely and it says "Not recommended for level control in aquariums." But I know people who do this, but if the product says not to I wouldn't reccomend it.) So, float valve is my choice. You have to have it gravity fed and a resivoir installed though. Depends what you're going for. |
