Default Anyone also keep Malawi cichlids?

Just curious to know if anybody in the Greater Vancouver area also keeps a Malawi cichlid tank? I do...

I used to.. had a few spawns from my kenyi pair.. but eventually the larger male kenyi went nuts and started eating his mate.. and others.. *shrug*... had kenyi, demasoni, trewavasse, yellow labs, even orange blotch morphs that were beautiful... but since I was introduced to salt.. grrrrrrrrrrrrr... my money only goes so far and will be sticking with reefs... good thing I'm getting paid decently this year *gulp*

Yeah, the Africans pale in comparison to a reef tank... I keep both tanks side by side and the freshwater tank is starting to look a little drab in comparison.
