![]() Found this snail today. Anyone know what kind it is? Its shell circular and black with white markings going across it.

![]() Welcome aboard. It's hard to tell from the picture, but it could be a sundial snail(coral preditor). If it is they only eat zoas.

![]() I'm thinking it may be a Sundial snail as well. They have a tell-tale cone shaped piece that closes over the hole in their shell when they retract their body. Here is a good pic of one:

![]() If you have Zoas you would want to remove them as that is their exclusive diet. Some people use them to eradicate their tanks of plague Zoas though. LOL
