Last time I went to bartle and gibson I brought a picture of a gate valve I was looking for and all the info... and no one there really knew anything (out of about 10 people I spoke with). Tried the same thing at wolseley plastics (I think thats the name? I probably mispelled), they knew what I was talking about but only typically stocked metal ones or 4" PVC gate valves? They could order the smaller ones though.

I ordered mine from Aquatic Ecosystems online in the US... ordered a bunch of bulkheads and fancy valves... they actually have great prices!
