Default question about T5 Lighting and Clams

Hey everyone
just wondering what people think about using T5 lighting over a 18 inch deep clam tank.
will this be enough lighting for them or must I use MH?
thanks in advance
Neal

With enough T5's over the tank I think it would be fine.

Only reason i asked what fixture is because asking can t5's keep clams, yes and no. Some fixtures supply enough light for all species while others done. Saying yes to t5's will work, a person can be misinformed and purchase like a 2x54watt thinking this will be enough

Fishytime gave a great example of an answer, listing what fixture he is using. perfect
