Default Flatworm?

It is about 1" in length. Long.. always long.. never roundish.. very flat.

Should I get rid of it? (If I ever see it again..)

I once saw something very similar to that in my tank but it disappeared on its own after a day or two. If you really want to know what it is you might be able to ID it by spending an hour or so looking around this site http://www.seaslugforum.net/

I ended up taking it out just because I was unsure what it was...

If it was beneficial.. then my loss.. if it was bad.. I did the right thing..

Better safe than sorry. But I'd still send the photo to seaslugforum.net - they were very prompt in ID'ing an unidentified nudi hitchhiker I had in my LR.
