![]() Just remember to have some sort of cover over your tank as they are all known jumpers, I've had a Blue spotted for a couple of years now and still one of my favorites. Also the BSJ like to borrow and make a mess of your aquascpaping. I made a little cave for mine out of PVC pipe and glued some rock around the one open end and burried the rest of it. He loved it right away, he still digs around every now and then but it sure cut down on the mess he was making all the time. Enjoy these fish

![]() Yup a cover is a must for both of these fish without exception. The bluespots usually hide for a while before they let you see them. Unless it's dried up on the floor or lost in the overflow, it's still in the tank somewhere; I don't advise going to look for him. That wuold just freak it out more and might even injure it. Did you make an artificial burrow for the bluespot? Apparently if you do that, they will make less sandstorms during their bouts of construction.
