![]() Today I made a simple media reactor from 1/4" black acrylic and 2" x 1/8" wall acrylic tubing. Having access to a cnc router to cut parts is awesome. Cutting all the parts took under 10 minutes.
Top flange before it's been bent for 'hang on sump'. The inside ring on the piece with the keyholes, is for the o-ring. Mmm bubble plates. Reactor all glued together, looks nice. Water will enter from the bottom, exit through top. Top and bottom pieces are tapped with 1/4" pipe thread (for john guest fittings). Total height is 13" It's a nice perfect fit, turns nicely. Maybe the next one will get a handle. Hurray, it hangs on the side. Not going to install on my tank, it's for insump with a maxijet. I made the mistake of having the bolt come through where the tank lip will be. Need to shorten the screw, and any more I build will have better placement.

![]() I want to see a pic of the CNC router
![]() looks like it makes it a lot more simple. I know when I build it takes me hours to cut pieces, but I am just using a table saw and router table. Steve
