Bad live rock
Hello all,
i just got some live rock recently but they are covered with hair aleage and other bad staff. I tried cooking the rock but the rock still has alot of hair on it. Its that safe to put in my new tank(1 weeks only). Is that another way?

You may want to research a bit more. I think you may have misunderstood the term "cooking" . If you search the forum I think you will find the correct way of doing it. I think it takes weeks if not months.

Oh, you cooked it on the stove!
  Some people do this, it's no unheard of, but it's hugely detrimental to the rock.Read about cooking live rock in the link in my signature, also read the guide on hair algae. That should help you out a lot.
