![]() I'm sorry, but I feel studies like this are just a waste of funding and resources. Wild populations of marine animals are tanking and this researcher's main concern is ethical treatment of crustaceans as food? Knowing that decapods can feel pain isn't going to clear up any vital life history traits which might help us conserve wild populations. This is kind of like making sure your tank glass is free of algae while your livestock is dying because of ammonia exposure. Guy must be a PETA member.
