what's in your overflow
Starting up the new 300
 Was thinking of filling the overflow boxeswith sand. Except I already have a RSB running. Then I though fill it with rock rubble. Seems like a waste just to have a durso in the space. what's in your overflow? Besides Water!!! Nip that in the but right away

Likely it will fill up with stuff soon enough, seems I always have a layer of detritus in there.I usually vaccum it out every 6 months or so. Other than that its mostly pods and sponges and before I put a layer of gutterguard over the top I was growing some really funky algaes in there
