![]() Hi Reefers,
I just got a Aquacare Turbo Chalk II reactor with a controller. My MG levels are @ 1100, and i need to get them up to par, before dosing with calcium media. I have a bag of ZeoMAG, as well as Aquacares Magnesium Granuals. My question is... Does anyone know the best way to use the zeomag to bring up the mg in the tank? should i put it in the reactor, or just use an old phosban reactor and fill it with the zeo mag. |

![]() bring the levels up with seachen or kent Mg, then use the zeomag to maintain those levels.

![]() Tailored Aquatics also makes a Mg bottle that you can add to your tank.

![]() I use the bulk Mg from Littlesilvermax to raise. Though I don't find really need to maintain Mg between water changes, often see ZeoMAG in the Ca reactor mixed 1 to 9 with Ca media.

![]() Ditto, works well and can't beat the price. Takes a large volume of MG to raise levels
