Christmas lights etc
Ok, we are fast approaching that time of year, so here is my question.
Too early for lights and decorations. yay or nay or a bah-humbug..... Ps; my wife had them going up right after Halloween.....Cripes

A couple neighbours took down their Halloween decorations more or less Nov 1 and replaced them with Christmas decorations. These guys went all out too. I think that's a little too early but I suppose if the weather is nice, why not. I know I've put my lights up in early November but didn't turn them on for a few weeks.
At this point though it's probably fair game. I put mine up this last weekend, took advantage of a warm afternoon.

I figure 1st week of December is a good time to put up lights and the tree.

Lights on and decorations up Dec. 1.... Lights off and decorations down Jan. 1.
