| cycling well i just recently upgraded from a 72g to a 180g. the 72 gallon has been running for well over a yr.when switching over all water, liverock, live sand went str8 into the new tank, adding roughly 100g of new salt water so my question is should i wait a few weeks before i add livestock or should the tank be pretty well seeded |

| Should be well seeded, but I would be concerned about re-using the Live sand, as it probably released a bunch of nastiness..

| From what you have said I think you should be alright adding some fish. The LR has already been cured and benifical bacteria has already grown on it. I will assume the added salt water was not 100 g of new water with salt added directly to the tank.
