![]() has anyone ever had a fire coral that encrusted the glass? mine has grown to the point that a few tips are touching the back glass and there is now a patch around the tips on the glass about 2" around that appears to be the same texture and color as the main colony. i would post a pic but the wifes out and im not that talented.

![]() my firecoral is doing exactly the same thing. two of its branches are creating encrusting patches on the backwall while one of its branch is smothering a portion of my encrusting montipora. haha i let it be for the sake of the strong shall dominate.
