Don't remind me, we're going out east at the end of the summer. I've got to visit family in Ontario and then maybe take a side trip somewhere fun out that way, New York would be kinda cool

Its pretty bad flying within your own county is more expensive than going to mexico for a week, all inclusive, in some cases ive found.

For TWO, you say? I just checked prices for Calgary-Vancouver, round-trip, and it was $400. Where are you looking for your "cheap" prices?

Meh its not so bad, i just paid $500 for a round trip to Toronto. Ive been paying that for a few years now.

Last year i flew from Detroit to New York City on September 11th for $10 plus taxes.
Its dirt cheap to fly anywhere in the states on 9/11,

Yep $600+ for two people! Wow $400!?!?! Now I feel dumb! Where was that?

My amazingly cheap price was a 'special' from Westjet. They talked me into buying early to take advantage of the 'special' prices - $89 each way per person & then all the taxes on top made it just over $600

I just checked Westjet again & it's now $59 each way per person! grrr!!!!!!!!
