Default RSM light upgrade.

i am considering this light upgrade for my RSM and wonder what people think ?
please include what bulb types you would use.

Are the T5's not bright enough? Looks like a lot of money to upgrade on that web site.

How do you like the RSM?

Nice upgrades but very pricy. Consider going open top with a sunpod type fixture if you really want to upgrade the lighting on a RSM. You'll have less overheating issues.

For the cost of the upgrade I'd personnaly put the money toward another tank and leaving the RSM stock.

agreed it is money better spent on another tank but i am pressed for room already. currently looking for a new house so i will be putting this off now. i need more room for tanks.

As for the open top not a bad idea if i could cut the top out of the lid, and drop a light in , but i want to leave it as original as possible.

Hockey nut i really like the RSM. great all in 1.but the light limits are an issue for keeping corals. al my softies do great but......................
