![]() I just picked the frogfish from *removed* up last weekend. Given how shallow the clam tank is I wanted something that doesn't jump and would be compatible with clams, urchins and SPS corals. I have always found frogfish interesting and figured it would be ideal for this tank since he is the only fish in it.
I've only had it a couple days now and it is already getting more grey and green to blend in better. *removed* told be to wait a couple weeks before feeding it since it had a couple chromis on Friday. It is taking food by hand so I won't need to provide it with live food. I flipped back and forth on whether to get one. I've been warned people quickly get bored of a fish that doesn't move and changes colour to camouflage in with the tank. I really like your top clam. ![]() Thank you.
I saw those frogfish when I was last there and REALLY debated adding one to a system in the future. They are just so awesome, regardless of their lack of movement/colour changing antics. |
