Thumbs down Seriously now people!

I swear if I ever hire people the first question on the application is going to be this:

Have you visited the wizard for a brain? Check yes or no.

I've been on hold with technical support for an hour now...it really is starting to "technically" feel like support, life support that is. Just because it talks doesn't mean you should hire it!

Don't you just love tech support? You spend an hour waiting for someone to talk to, and 9 times out of 10 you end up with someone who knows diddly about the english language.

The guy I'm "talking" with has no idea what is going on. The lights are on, but nobody is home....

Maybe he should visit the wizard for some courage too, courage to ask some questions and to learn his job...

In todays market, employers will hire anyone breathing and employees don't need to care, jobs everywhere these days.

I had one guy in my office for an interview that asked to use the washroom. I showed him the way, pointed them out and he stood there for 10 seconds looking at the Men / Woman Symbols then went into the Womans washroom...how do you not know the difference?

I had another guy show up in a ripped track suit for an interview.. who does that? At least put on clothes that aren't ripped!

That is really funny actually...sad, but still quite funny.

At my old job there was lady (I think she/it/he was female) and they dressed in the SAME clothes everyday, neon orange (think 80s) leggings, a ugly ratty T-shirt, and a full length fur jacket! She was special one.

Nowadays it’s easier to find customers than employees. Sure changed customer relations and service.

The problem, you see, is that common sense and courtesy are in worldwide limited supply. It doesn't matter how many more people are added to the world, there is no new supply, and it has to be rationed. Some people don't get any at all. If the population doubles again, the monkeys will take over the world and enslave us. Planet of the Apes is a cautionary tale, for sure!

I know what you mean! I needed a position filled in a hurry, so I put an ad in to the local job placement office. A woman who was 7 months pregnant came in for the job and inquired on our pregnancy-leave package!!!

I had one person come to an interview, have his cell phone ring, and ask the interview panel if he could answer it. The panel replied that the choice was his, he promptly answered it and carried a conversation with the person on the other end. Bad choice.
