Default selling quiet1 16,000 (4232 GPH) Submersible

pond/aquarium submersible pump. 1.5" in and out... producing 4,232 GHP

Installed on my tank and found out it was WAY to powerful for my overflow system (need to rework) so I've decided to go a different route. Only used for 5 seconds while it emptied my sump. Will throw in my 1.5" threaded adaptor and "T"

Retails for over $700....My loss your gain $350 obo

Rather than selling why don't you throttle down on the input of the pump? Or recycle part of the dischage back into your pump? Sounds like a great pump

never throttle back the input. you should only throttle back the output.

don't want to throttle output unless you have a pressure safety valve

Throttling back the input will cause damage to the pump. I've always been told to throttle the output

Yes you might end up cavitating the pump but how would you like water flowing at 4000 gph on your floor. Sorry. Didn't mean to hijack the thread just trying to help the man not lose his investment so fast.
