Default DIY skimmer planes

Well im about ready to build a becket style skimmer for my 100g reef. I was woundering if any one out there could give me some tips, places to get supplies and ofcourse links to instructions on how to build them. I am working on an above tank sump/refugium. the sump part will only house the skimmer and heaters as well spots for probs. the rest ( i hope 80%) will be the refguim. Im also going to build a surface skimmer to put the pump in for the skimmer its self. This will just be a box in the tank that houses the pump.

Any tips or thoughts would be great. Thanks

Kristofer.
