I just did mine this weekend. Previously I had just crammed the enkamat between the needles on the needlewheel. Now I've cut the needle wheels off and zip tied the enkamat onto the impeller. Makes an even bigger difference and I had to actually cut the pipe on my gate valve mod to lower the water level in the skimmer as the gate is wide open and the bubbles were still overflowing into the cup
