![]() I have recently aquired a nice becket style skimmer, now the question i have because I am having problems getting it to run properly is do I need to have s divider to push the water up the riser??

![]() no. the divider only diverts the air bubbles up. Its not necessary because i've seen many beckett skimmers without the divider but I personally like them to minimize micro bubbles entering the drain

![]() The problem is all the air is pooling at the top of the box, then it's letting huge air bubbles go up the riser!!
